About Me

Hello. I'm Sav, otherwise known as Tech Savio!

I'm a 22 year old artist located in Georgia who's been creating characters, designs, and numerous other ideas since I had the ability to pick up a pencil. Throughout middle school and high school, I would go out of my way to take as many creative classes as possible, including painting, sculpting, and technology classes.

I ended up getting a Wacom One tablet in my teenage years, making me fall in love with the idea of creating things in a more digital light.  Eventually, it led me to my 3D Game Art and Bachelor's of Science degree from Full Sail University.  My creativity from there would skyrocket to talent that I never thought I would reach.

I'm currently working as a professional 2D/3D artist, and a 3D designer at Gravion USA, creating patterns for embossing.

I do art for both fun, and for a job. I put a great amount of time, love, and effort into everything I do, whether it being just a sketch that I thought of 20 minutes ago, or being a piece that took months of work to create.

3D Modeling & UVing

Video Games and movies that used 3D models and CGI always caught my eye while growing up, giving the the passion I have today to create these very things that I had always found fascinating.

There are many different process that go into 3D modeling, such as creating a high quality mesh and a low-poly mesh to save on resources. Once that process is done, I create the UVs, letting me texture it later on. I bring it into Substance 3D painter if I'm looking for a more realistic feel, or create my own textures in Clip Studio X.

Once textures are done, you combine everything, such as textures, baking, and other meshes, maps, or add-ons you have for the mesh. Eventually, you end up with something like this!

The story element add-ons are used in many 2D and 3d art pieces

ex. "Start" - code rogue video

in this drawing, the perspective, lighting, and blur gives a feeling of distance from the "final boss" that appears in the background.

textures are crucial to having the best overall outcome for both 3D and 2D art. The amount of detail that an object, person, or any other thing that you color or model can have many different story elements that can be described or visually seen.

Textures can come in many different ways, shapes and forms. Add-ons like scratches, chipped paint, and many other conditions that it could be in could single handedly tell a story of what the object could have happened to the object, or where the object came from.

Drawing Product

I use a Wacom One 13 and have never had any issues with it! It comes with a pen with multiple tips and is projected off of my laptop in order to draw.
